Zirconia Dental Bridge Delhi

Zirconium Oxide ( ZiO2 ) like 3M-Lava, E-max, Brux, Zeno, Cercon, Everest or Cerec ( Extremely Robust and Durable Dental Crown & Bridge material ) .

Zirconium ( Zirconia ) is rapidly becoming the material of choice for cosmetic dentist for fabricating dental crown & Bridges. It is a remarkably very hard & robust material which is able to withstand the wear and tear of our day to day life use. More importantly however, it has a translucency that is very similar to a natural tooth -- light is reflected from a Zirconium crown in much the same way as it passes through the natural tooth… so it looks next to natural when used in front teeth or in posterior teeth.

Thus Zirconium produces the best aesthetic effects, which is important if your new crown is to be for the front teeth area. It is particularly the case when the crowns will be seen beside a natural tooth.
Porcelain fused to metal crowns are conventional & traditionally used material for a new crown since long time, but the problem with metal Porcelain is that it sometimes apt to chip or break under chewing pressure. This problem is usually overcome by making new crowns from metal and then fusing porcelain to the outside. The metal provides the strength whilst the porcelain provides the outward appearance on a normal tooth. However, light can pass through a normal tooth but not a metal core which blocks it – so we use to have a grey hue in the crown so it normally does not matches with the subordinate natural tooth and it will have a grey line as well on the gum margin.
To overcome both of the above said problems we were facing since long time – Zirconium has been introduced into dentistry --  due to the strength of Zirconium, we can now make crowns and bridge work without need to add metal as its base material – from top to bottom it is full contour zirocnia crowns or Monolith crowns and so these new crowns are virtually impossible to distinguish from 'real teeth' - except of course we can control their size, shape and colour and thereby provide a perfect, yet natural looking smile.
Zirconium dioxide has been used in dentistry for the past 10 - 15 years. Its strength and durability have been proved. Additionally it is fully biocompatible so there is a negligible risk of any allergic reactions. It is increasingly being used in general surgery as well as in dentistry.
It is however a little more expensive than the traditional materials.

Advantages of All-Ceramic Restorations
Strength and Longevity - Zirconium is virtually indestructible whereas Porcelain crowns are prone to chipping. Crowns have a lifetime of around 5 to 10 years depending on your oral care. Zirconium should last a long time.
Cosmetic - Have you ever seen people with a large unsightly black line above their gums? Up until recently most crowns are Porcelain which is fused to a Metal base. Over time, the metal begins to show more and more and the restoration can look opaque and monochromatic, with the tell tale dark grey line at the crown join.
The Zirconium Crowns not only look more translucent, but are much stronger than the Porcelain fused to the Metal posts. The Zirconium crowns are milled from a single block of crystal and can be up to five times stronger than a porcelain / metal fuse.
Less tooth Removal – In tooth preparation for a zirconia crowns we do minimal reduction as compared to a metal porcelain crown work.
Appointments - The appointment time is flexible and we work all 7 days a week and we will give you your preferred time slot as per your preference.
